For more than 15 years, the Rise and Walk Foundation has worked to transform the lives of hundreds of children and their families in Bogotá. During this time, we have had the support of many friends who have been part of this great family, "Today we want to thank you with this series of photos that tells the story of the Foundation through images. Thank you all for your support, your generosity and commitment has transformed many lives.

Dance Program

Children explore movement and improve coordination while learning Latin American dances. 

​

Through this program children learn to express their emotions and improve their connections with one another. Additionally, the program builds discipline, boosts self-esteem and enhances memory.

Music Program

Children develop musical skills through playing instruments, practicing rhythmic exercises, and learning basic music theory. The program enhances focus, creativity, and attention while encouraging collaboration and fostering a love for cultural expression.

Theater Program

Theater provides a safe space for children to share emotions and ideas, both individually and as part of a group, fostering creativity and teamwork. Through games and stage activities, children also build self-confidence, gain empathy, and improve self-expression.

Visual Arts Program

This program encourages children to communicate their ideas and feelings through various art forms such as drawing, graffiti, photography, and painting. It promotes creativity, observation, patience, and freedom of expression.

Homework Support Program

Our Homework Support Program helps children and teens succeed academically in a safe, supportive, and motivating space.

We don’t just help with homework—we also identify and support challenges like learning difficulties, lack of resources, or low motivation, offering targeted tutoring and skill-building sessions to boost confidence and academic success.

​

By working together with families, teachers, and the community, we create a strong support network that helps kids grow and thrive.

This program is part of our commitment to giving every child the childhood they deserve and making a lasting positive impact in their lives.
